What exactly is Clarity Companion?
It’s a structured critical-thinking assistant for difficult interpersonal situations. You describe what happened, answer a few short questions, and get an analysis that separates facts from assumptions, identifies communication patterns, weighs multiple perspectives, and lays out three possible response strategies.
Is this therapy?
No. Clarity Companion is not therapy, medical advice, or a diagnostic tool. It’s a thinking aid — like talking through a situation with a thoughtful, unbiased friend. If you’re struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional.
Who sees what I write?
Your situation text is processed by Anthropic’s Claude to generate the analysis. Anthropic states that API traffic is not used to train their models. Your analyses aren’t public — signed-in users see their own history, and shared read-only links only work for people you send them to. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Do I need an account?
No — you can run a few free analyses without signing in. Sign in (with Google) if you want to save your history, unlock more free analyses, or subscribe to Pro.
What does Clarity Pro include?
Unlimited analyses, PDF export, priority AI model (Claude Sonnet instead of Haiku), longer inputs, saved history, emotional-trend tracking, follow-up outcome nudges, and Pro-only tools like Draft a reply, Rehearse mode, and Second opinion. See Pricing for current plans.
How do referrals work?
Every account gets a personal referral link. When a friend signs up with your link and completes their first analysis, you both get +1 bonus analysis. Reach three completed invites and you both unlock 30 days of Clarity Pro — free.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. From the user menu, choose Manage subscription to cancel. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period; no future charges are made.
Can I install it as an app?
Yes — Clarity Companion is a Progressive Web App. On Android or desktop Chrome you’ll see an Install app prompt. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
How do you protect my data?
TLS in transit, encrypted-at-rest storage for sensitive fields, no advertising trackers, no data sales. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
